Hazardous Location Boxes

Hazardous location boxes provide explosionproof enclosures for NEC Class I Division 1 and 2 and Class II environments where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dusts may be present. The FS (shallow) and FD (deep) cast device box system — also known as UNILETS boxes — features threaded hub entries and NEMA FB-1 construction for use in petrochemical plants, grain elevators, and manufacturing facilities. Extra-deep ED hazardous location boxes are available where maximum wiring volume is required.
