SpecSeal® Safing Spray is a high solid, latex-based elastomeric coating specifically formulated for slab edge safing applications.

SpecSeal® Safing Spray is designed to be applied using airless spray equipment or by brush or roller. It is formulated to bridge gaps or irregularities over the mineral wool safing, and is ideally suited to work around curtain wall mounting anchors thereby enhancing productivity in even the most demanding construction environments.

Utilizing a premium latex binder system, it is totally resistant to water and will not re-emulsify after drying. Upon drying, it forms a flexible barrier against the spread of fire, hot gases, and smoke. It does not contain inorganic fibers, asbestos, or solvents.
