Capped elbows provide a sealed 90-degree turn in rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) runs with a factory-closed end, used as pull points or termination fittings. They are explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof, rated for Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 hazardous locations where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dusts may be present. Constructed from malleable iron with Appleton's triple-coat finish — zinc electroplate, chromate conversion, and epoxy powder coat — delivering layered corrosion protection for demanding industrial environments.
