Pulling elbows, also known as pulling fittings, provide a access point for pulling conductors through direction changes in rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) systems. The removable cover allows wire access without disassembling the conduit run, reducing installation labor on long or complex pulls. They are explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof, rated for Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 hazardous locations where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dusts may be present. Constructed from malleable iron with Appleton's triple-coat finish — zinc electroplate, chromate conversion, and epoxy powder coat — delivering layered corrosion protection for demanding industrial environments.
