Pulling elbows, also known as pulling fittings, provide a access point for pulling conductors through direction changes in rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) systems. The removable cover allows wire access without disassembling the conduit run, reducing installation labor on long or complex pulls. They are explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof, rated for Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 hazardous locations where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dusts may be present. Constructed from pressure-cast copper-free aluminum with an epoxy powder coat finish, offering a lightweight, corrosion-resistant alternative to iron — well suited for outdoor, damp, or mildly corrosive environments.
