Product Description
Conduit plugs close unused threaded openings in conduit fittings, outlet boxes, and junction boxes in rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) systems, preventing debris and moisture ingress. They are explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof, rated for Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 hazardous locations where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dusts may be present, maintaining the flame-tight integrity of the enclosure. Constructed from copper-free aluminum construction providing a lightweight, self-oxidizing alternative to iron with natural corrosion resistance.
