PowerLock Discs come in a choice of three safe, easy-to-use fasteners.
No matter which fastener type you choose, all Merit PowerLock Discs feature laminated construction which provide a tough, durable backing—virtually eliminating the snagging and shredding that can occur with pressure-sensitive Discs.

Type I
Type I is a snap-on/snap-off system, which enables you to change Discs quickly and safely, Reducing down time and operating expenses
(equivalent to Norton’s TP fastener)

Type II
Type II features a turn-on/turn-off style fastener
(equivalent to Standard Abrasives’ Soc-Att® locking system or Norton’s TS fastener)

Type III
Type III features a Roll-on/Roll-off style fastener
(equivalent to 3M™ Roloc fastening system or Norton’s TR fastener)
