Carborundum Flex-Lock Discs come in a choice of two, easy-to-use fastening systems. No matter which fastener type you choose, all Carborundum Flex-Lock Discs feature laminated construction which provide a tough, durable backing—virtually eliminating the snagging and shredding that can occur with pressure-sensitive Discs.
Type II
Type II features a turn-on/turn-Off style fastener
(equivalent to Standard Abrasives’ Soc-Att® locking system or Norton’s TS fastener)
Type III
Type III features a Roll-on/Roll-Off style fastener
(equivalent to 3M™ Roloc fastening system or Norton’s TR fastener)
