Carborundum Premier Red FatBoy flap discs are made with a self-sharpening Zirconia Alumina abrasive grain. Combined with a durable cloth backing and durable resin bond, this allows each grain to break off and re-sharpen itself, producing sharp cutting edges while in operation. The discs aggressive cut rate stay constant thus allowing the operator to reduce grinding pressure and fatigue when grinding for extended periods.
Carborundum Premier Red FatBoy flap discs' extended life increases productivity by reducing operator "downtime" to change spent discs and reduces the number of discs needed to complete work per operator, per shift. Another feature that extends the working life of FatBoy discs is extra large flaps.The time during which a computer is not functioning due to hardware, operating system or application program failure.
